The Process is Simple!
- First of all, if you will be supplying the photos, you need to take some photos of the animal.
Have a look at the Photos page for some guidelines on the type of photos I require,
and some tips on taking good reference photos.
If you will be sending existing photos, please be sure that the
photos you choose meet my requirements. Remember, the better the reference photos are, the better the portrait will be.
If you would like me to photograph your animal for you (an option open to Temiskaming Shores area residents),
please let me know at the time of ordering, and we can arrange a convenient time for the photo shoot. -
To order by regular mail:
Print out and complete the portrait order form, and send it, along with the 50% deposit and photos,
to the address on the form. You may email your photos if you wish.
To order online:
Complete the online order form. I will send you a PayPal invoice by email,
which you may pay using a credit card. You do not need a PayPal account.
Email your photos to me.

Once I have your order, photos, and deposit, I will contact you to discuss ideas for composition, medium, etc.
Once that is agreed upon, I will give you an estimated completion date, and I can begin creating!

When the portrait is complete, I will email an
image of it for your approval. At this point, you may request minor changes. I want you to be happy with the portrait!

Once you approve the painting, we discuss
delivery method/cost, and you pay the balance owing. When I receive payment, the portrait is yours!

These are the most common sizes chosen. They will fit into standard sized frames (for those portraits needing framing), which will make the framing process more easy and cost effective for you. Other sizes and combinations are available.
Collars, tack, toys, etc. and detailed backgrounds are extra.
