Ring Making

In this 2 hour workshop with metal smith jewellery designer Julie Brown, you will learn how to make two rings from sterling silver* wire - one rosebud ring and one ring with a focal bead. Maximum 5 per class. Pre-registration is required.

$30 includes all supplies and shared use of tools. You are welcome to bring your own pliers and cutters.

Wednesday, January 29 from 1:00 to 3:00 (or a bit longer depending on number in class)

*niobium wire is available for those with allergies to sterling silver. Please specify niobium when registering.

Earring Making Workshop

Each student will create 2 pairs of earrings, one french hook style and one hoop style, and wire-wrapped bead drops for each pair as part of this 2-hour workshop.

Learn to create beautiful ear wires and bead drops in this fun class. Students work in base-metal wire to practice, then use sterling silver or hypo-allergenic niobium for their final creations.

$30 includes supplies and shared use of tools. You are encouraged to bring your own tools if possible.

Class is limited to a maximum of 5. Pre-registration is required.

Tuesday February 4, from 10:00 to noon.

Chain Making

In this class Julie will teach you how to make two different styles of chains and a simple clasp using brass and copper wire and jewellers pliers. . You will complete one necklace and one bracelet length chain.

Max 4 per class. Pre- registration required.

$30 includes supplies and shared use of tools. You are encouraged to bring your own tools.
