Hawthorn

The texture on this handcrafted copper cuff reminds me of tangled and gnarly hawthorn trees. I love the way the branches and thorns interweave to create a protected, sheltered haven for birds and animals.

This unisex cuff was hand-sawn from .75 mm copper sheet, then filed smooth and hammered to create the rich texture. It was then fire-coloured with my torch and oxidized to give it a deep and rich patina. A final polish in the tumbler strengthens the cuff and brings out a brilliant shine. An application of microcrystalline wax protects the finish.

The cuff is 7/8" wide and is made to measure. Just leave the measurement of your wrist around the wrist bone in the notes to seller when checking out.  

Your cuff will arrive via complementary shipping from my studio to your door, carefully protected in a ziplock bag then wrapped in eco-friendly packaging.
